Paralegal / Litigator – multiple vacancies available

We are recruiting for a fantastic Law firm, based in the heart of Cardiff City Centre, who are looking for multiple individuals to join their Personal Injury fast-track department.

There are Paralegal/Case Manager roles available, as well as Litigator roles. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of MOJ personal injury claims. For the Litigator vacancy, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of non-MOJ PI and/or EL/PL claims.

Daily duties will include:

  • Managing your own caseload of PI claims
  • Always acting in the best interest of the client
  • Keeping files up to date
  • Keeping in contact with clients
  • Using the case management system effectively
  • Reviewing cases

For these roles, our client will consider individuals who have managed personal injury claims, for the MOJ roles, and for the non-MOJ roles they are considering candidates who have some knowledge/understanding on litigation or individuals who are experienced in litigation.

Key skills that our client is looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a solicitor or insurer environment, dealing with personal injury cases
  • Litigation knowledge (for the Litigator vacancies)
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Client care skills
  • A team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Good IT/computer skills
