Support Desk Team Manager

Cute Resource Solutions is excited to working with a hugely successful telecommunications business in Bristol, who are currently looking for an experienced Support Desk Analyst to join the business as a Support Desk Team Manager.

As a Support Desk Team Manager, you will be required to run and manage the desk function, which will include managing a small team. As well as this, you will be required to be hands-on with the support desk, which will involve dealing with customer faults and ensuring that these are resolved. To do this, you will have to liaise with third parties to ensure that all data, telephone line and hosted telephony product faults are resolved. As well as being a supervisory role, this is going to be a very customer service focussed position, so having excellent communication skills is key.

Your managerial duties will include conducting 1-2-1s, training, mentoring, conducting team meetings and monitoring team performance.

For this Support Desk Team Leader opportunity, our client is looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Completed or actively studying Cisco CCNA
  • LAN and WAN knowledge
  • Network design and implementation experience
  • Experience in Cisco, as well as routing and firewall administration
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience supervising or managing a team is essential
